Agreement to these terms

These Terms apply to all visitors and customers of the site. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and our Shipping & Returns policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full effect.

Who we are

Eligibility and accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe has been used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.

Products, scents and availability

Because every batch is poured by hand, small variations are normal and are not defects. These include minor differences in wax surface, colour, label placement, and fragrance intensity between batches.

Scent is subjective and is affected by room size, ventilation, ceiling height, and your own sense of smell. A fragrance performing differently in your home than you expected is not a fault in the product.

Product photography is intended to represent our items accurately, but screens vary and props shown in images are not included unless expressly stated. Vessel and packaging designs may change between runs.

All items are subject to availability. Scents may be discontinued, reformulated, or offered as limited runs, and we may change or withdraw any product at any time without notice.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in [CURRENCY] and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.

We take care with pricing, but if an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we are not obliged to fulfil the order at that price. Where this happens we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.

Payment is taken at the time you place your order. By submitting payment details you confirm that the payment method belongs to you or that you are authorised to use it. Promotional codes cannot be combined unless we say so and may be withdrawn at any time.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a shipping confirmation. An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not itself constitute acceptance.

We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where the item is out of stock, where we cannot verify payment or delivery details, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or resale in breach of these Terms. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as quickly as possible. We pack quickly, and once an order has entered fulfilment we may not be able to alter it.

Shipping and delivery

Processing and delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is handed to the carrier, delivery timing is outside our control, and we are not liable for carrier delays, weather, or customs handling.

Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Please check that address carefully — we cannot be responsible for orders sent to an address entered incorrectly at checkout.

For international orders, you are the importer of record and are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees charged on arrival. These are not included in our prices and are not refundable by us.

Wax is sensitive to heat. Parcels left in direct sun or in a hot vehicle after delivery may soften or develop surface changes, and this is not a defect we can be responsible for.

Returns, refunds and damage

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been used, burned, opened, or sprayed.

Unused items in their original condition and packaging may be returned within [NUMBER] days of delivery. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

If your order arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us within [NUMBER] days of delivery with photos of the item and the outer packaging, and we will replace it or refund it.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Shipping charges are non-refundable except where the fault is ours. Sale items, personalised items, and wholesale orders may be non-returnable — this will be stated at the point of purchase.

Candle safety and proper use

To use our candles as intended:

• Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each lighting.
• Do not burn for longer than four hours at a time.
• Stop use when roughly 1/2 inch of wax remains in the vessel.
• Never move a candle while it is lit or while the wax is molten.
• Do not use a vessel that is cracked, chipped, or damaged.

Wax melts are for use in a purpose-built warmer only and must never be placed on a direct heat source. Car diffusers must be hung so that they cannot obstruct the driver's view or interfere with vehicle controls, and must not be left where liquid may leak onto interior surfaces.

Room & body sprays are for external use only. Keep away from eyes, do not ingest, and test on a small area of skin before wider use. Do not spray near an open flame or a lit candle.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for injury, property damage, or loss resulting from failure to follow the safety instructions supplied with the product.

Fragrance, allergies and sensitivity

Our products contain fragrance oils. Some people are sensitive or allergic to specific fragrance components. If you have a known sensitivity, review the product information before purchase and contact us if you need further detail about a particular scent.

Discontinue use immediately if you experience irritation, headache, or a reaction, and seek medical advice if symptoms persist. If you are pregnant, nursing, or managing a medical condition, consult a qualified professional before using fragranced products.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Intellectual property

The MC Majesty Candles name, crest and monogram, logo, labels, packaging design, product photography, scent names, site design, and written content are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property law.

You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or adapt any part of the site or our branding without our prior written permission, and you may not use our marks in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Reviews and submissions

If you submit a review, photo, comment, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with our business, including in marketing, without payment to you.

You confirm that anything you submit is your own, is accurate, and does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may edit for length or decline to publish content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or off-topic. Reviews reflect the views of individual customers, not ours.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to break the law, to place fraudulent or speculative orders, to scrape or harvest data, to introduce malicious code, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems, or to interfere with the site's operation or security.

Our products are sold for personal use. Purchase for commercial resale requires a wholesale agreement with us in writing.

Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites, payment processors, or social platforms. Those services are controlled by others and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We provide links for convenience and are not responsible for their content, security, or practices.

Disclaimers

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
